Tess McClellan (She/Her)

Tess is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with advanced postgraduate training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. She has extensive experience across public mental health, hospital and specialist trauma services, working with infants, children and families, and holds a senior position at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. Her clinical interests focus on complex infant and child mental health difficulties, particularly early developmental trauma, relational difficulties and mood disorders. Tess is committed to building warm, trusting relationships with families, informed by how early experiences shape emotional development. Her practice draws on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Reflective Family Play, Child–Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), EMDR, attachment-based parenting interventions, and family therapy.
